Cloverland Farm, located in Sparks Glencoe Maryland.  Nicely nestled in the middle of Fox & Hound Country. Easy access off of I-83 and just minutes from Hunt Valley Town Center.  Our boutique farm allows for individual quality care and attention to details your horse deserve.

All of the facilities of a larger barn (and more) with luxury  of a small group of boarders. Extra wide center aisle to allow plenty of space to keep horse traffic at safe distances.

Ride comfortability year round, in a state-of-the-art Insulated indoor riding arena with dust free custom blend footing to provide the appropriate cushioning for your horse's legs.

Horses are protected by the quality fencing and can enjoy lush grass pastures year round, Pastures are designed to ensure safe turnout. Daily fresh water available.  


Horse are Turned out as early as  6:00am.. 

Farm staff monitor horses throughout the day.

~ Fresh Free choice hay provided each day (No round bales) 

~Typically 8-10 hours of turn out

~ Daily turnout (weather permitting) 

~ Turnout in small groups (2-3 max per field)

Beautifully built spacious tack room with an observation window viewing into the indoor.  A great space for riders seeking horse equiment while auditing a riding lesson in the Indoor arena.

~ Organized bridle wall with name plates

~ available are pull out drawers and over head storage for smaller items

Above the room, is a large overhead storage for tack trunks.  Winter Blankets are stored above the Tack Room during the warmer seasons.

Well thought out lounge to meet human comforts for relaxation and socializing.  Enjoy staying warm with the a view while lessons are underway in the indoor or cool off from the summer heat!

A peaceful setting, resting at the lower end of the property is our unique Lower Barn.  Smaller size operation and can be used as a quarantine barn.

Services

Riding Lessons

Cloverland Farm welcomes all ages of riders and start as young 4 years old. Riding lessons range from elementary horsemanship level to competing at local and Rated competitions. Horsemanship is the start to a solid foundation.  Lessons are based by hands-on learning experiences such as grooming, feeding, mucking, bathing, bandaging legs, and wound care here at Cloverland. 


Intermediate to Advanced riders can specialize in a discipline and set goals for the up and coming riding season.  Flat and Jumping Lessons are scheduled weekly.  Off the property schooling opportunities are available for those seeking to expand their riding skills. 


Private & Group Lessons


Private lessons are one-on-one instruction for riders seeking to achieve personal goals. Group lessons are desired for riders that share the same discipline and skill level. 


*All new clients are required to schedule a Private Meeting/Evaluation Riding with the head instructor. 

Full & Patrial Training Board

We are a serious but fun training barn and encourage the same of our boarders.  The welfare of the horses is first and foremost in our training methods.  Cloverland provides a program that strides towards a solid foundation in training to enables horse and rider to preform their best.  Starting from developing green horses, OTTBs, to polishing trained Hunter Jumpers and Grand Prix Dressage Schoolmasters, each horse is catered with premium care. 


Full & Partial Training


Full Time Training is a great for horse owners investing in quality training with a specific custom schedule per horse and rider working toward futures goals.  This is a long term arrangement best suited for developing horses and competition horses. 


Partial Training is short term program for horses on a time frame. Typically range from a few weeks to 3 months. With a specific goal to towards, training schedule will need to be practical base on the client's goal. 


*All training horses receive Full Care Services provided by Cloverland 

Leasing a Schoolmaster

The best thing a rider can do is to educate themselves to become a better horseman. Leasing is an great starting point if a client thinks they will eventually want to own a horse.  


The lessor benefits from the opportunity to have multiple rides a week and be able to develop a personal partnership with the horse.  In addition, opportunities are available to participate in horse show series.

Competition

All clients are welcomed to participate in horse shows.  Riders looking to have a competitive show season can make arrangements with head instructor to ride at certain venues for the goals of Year-End Awards.  


Cloverland offers horses for riders that do not own a horse.  Friends and family members can join in on the fun by cheering on Team Cloverland.
