LESSONS AT CLOVERLAND FARM

Great riders are built on a strong foundation. Our lesson program welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels, starting at age 6, and focuses on correct basics and genuine horsemanship. Whether you’re sitting on a horse for the first time or preparing for local and rated competitions, every lesson is shaped around your goals and long-term progress.

Horsemanship Beyond the Saddle

Good riders know how to care for their horses. Our students learn hands-on skills in grooming, feeding, bathing, mucking stalls, leg bandaging, and basic wound care. This knowledge builds well-rounded equestrians and deeper partnerships between horse and rider.

Intermediate & Advanced Riders

As riders progress, they can specialize in their chosen discipline and set competitive and personal goals for the season. We offer weekly flatwork and jumping lessons, along with off-property schooling and competition opportunities.

TRAINING AT CLOVERLAND FARM

At Cloverland Farm, every training program starts with the horse. We believe a correct, lasting foundation is what allows horse and rider to reach their full potential, and the horse’s health, happiness, and welfare guide every decision we make.

Our program is professional and goal-oriented, but never at the expense of a welcoming, supportive atmosphere. We start and develop young horses and fine-tune experienced hunters, jumpers, event horses, and Grand Prix dressage horses. Every horse receives an individualized plan, attentive management, and premium daily care.

FULL-TIME TRAINING

For long-term development and consistent progress

Full-Time Training gives your horse a steady, structured schedule built around your goals. It’s ideal for young horses in development, competition horses, and riders committed to long-term advancement in their discipline. Each horse’s program builds strength, confidence, rideability, and performance, with clear milestones along the way.

SHORT-TERM TRAINING

For focused goals over several weeks to three months

Short-Term Training is a concentrated program for specific objectives: preparing for a show, solving a particular training issue, refining a skill, or giving your horse extra professional mileage.
